Orlando is getting a Build-A-Bear that goes beyond picking a plush off the shelf. The company’s new three-story location at ICON Park is scheduled to open November 5, 2026, bringing its largest experience yet to International Drive. The familiar bear-making experience will sit alongside new ways to personalize a furry friend.

One addition is the Build-A-Bear Design Studio. This appointment-based experience pairs guests with a design consultant to create a custom plush. The company says visitors can choose details such as animal style, fabrics and fur, then see their creation made by a seamstress. It is a separate experience from the standard Workshop visit, so check appointment availability and pricing before making plans.

There is also a hands-on Bakeshop where visitors can decorate cupcakes and cookies. Build-A-Bear’s official experience page describes a third-floor terrace and spaces for celebrations. For families or adult collectors, the appeal is the mix: making something, personalizing it and adding a treat can become part of one outing.

Before you go, use Build-A-Bear’s official ICON Park page for the latest opening and booking details. Do not assume every activity is included in a standard bear purchase. This is an opening preview based on the company’s announcements; Show Me Orlando has not reviewed the new location.
