Orlando’s Halloween calendar is spreading across two weekends, with local celebrations offering alternatives to a theme-park night. City parks, downtown streets and museums are preparing events for different ages and budgets.

At Lake Eola, Eolaween returns on Saturday, October 24, from 4 to 9 p.m. The City of Orlando lists trick-or-treating, crafts, pumpkin decorating and live entertainment, followed by an outdoor screening of Haunted Mansion at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, and a sensory-friendly Quiet Zone will be available.

Nearby cities add more options. Winter Garden’s City Hall light shows run continuously from 7 to 9 p.m. on October 23, 24, 30 and 31. In Kissimmee, Boo! on Broadway welcomes all ages on October 30, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Both are free to attend.

Families looking for a daytime outing can consider Central Florida Zoo’s Zoo Boo Bash on October 24, 25 or 31. A special-event ticket is required, and the last admission is at 4 p.m.

Halloween night itself brings a different kind of museum visit: OSC After Dark at Orlando Science Center, from 8 to 11 p.m. on October 31. The ticketed event is strictly for guests 21 and older, with an open bar and food sold separately.

The variety makes age limits, location and admission worth checking before choosing a plan. Our Halloween guide groups the options by the kind of outing you want, while the event listings link directly to organizers for tickets and changes.
